Market concentration — 25% to 45%, locked at 93%.

93% probability the Magnificent Seven's combined S&P 500 index weight ends 2026 inside a 25–45% band. Their share was about 34% in July 2026, up from 12.3% a decade earlier. We predict the range, not whether concentration rises or falls.

Magnificent Seven combined S&P 500 weight at end-2026 · our locked band
25% – 45%
combined index weight · vs ~34% in July 2026

The Magnificent Seven — Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla — accounted for about 34.03% of S&P 500 market capitalisation as of July 2026, against 34.3% in December 2025 and 12.3% in 2015. Note that market-cap share and float-adjusted index WEIGHT are closely related but not identical measures; our band is wide enough that the distinction cannot decide the outcome.

— 1 · The Locked Call

Combined Mag-7 S&P 500 weight ends 2026 inside 25%–45% — P = 0.93.

We lock a binary: the combined S&P 500 index weight of Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla at year-end 2026 falls inside a 25.0% to 45.0% band. Confidence 93%. We do not predict whether concentration rises or falls.

— 2 · Why this is a structural fact, not a price bet

Concentration moves slowly, because it takes relative collapse to shift it.

Index weight is a ratio, which makes it far steadier than any of its components. A broad market fall does not move it — the seven fall with everything else. To leave our band, these seven would have to move roughly a third relative to the other 493, in four months. That has not happened over any comparable window even during the 2022 drawdown, when the group fell hard but the index fell with them. The share has drifted from 12.3% in 2015 to about 34% now: a decade-long structural move, not a quarterly one. Confidence 93% and not higher because the concentration itself is the risk — a genuine AI de-rating would hit precisely these names asymmetrically, which is the one mechanism that moves this ratio fast. We name the seven explicitly in the criterion so the membership cannot drift at resolution.

RAOSCAFF locks P-205 on 2026-08-25. Scored against the combined year-end 2026 S&P 500 index weight of the seven named companies versus a 25%–45% band.

Binary: YES if the SUM of the S&P 500 index weights of these SEVEN NAMED companies — Alphabet (all share classes combined), Amazon, Apple, Meta Platforms, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla — at year-end 2026 is ≥25.0% and ≤45.0%; NO if outside. These seven only: no substitution if another company overtakes one of them. Direction within the band is NOT scored.

Concentration itself is the risk — an AI de-rating would hit exactly these seven asymmetrically, the one mechanism that moves this ratio quickly.
