90% probability Bharat Electronics' FY2027 standalone revenue reaches at least INR 30,500 crore, against management's 15% growth target on INR 27,479.63 crore. H1 delivered INR 12,823.93 crore; the second half needs INR 17,676 crore against INR 17,299 crore a year earlier.
Bharat Electronics' standalone results show revenue from operations of INR 12,823.93 crore for H1 FY27 against INR 10,180.48 crore for H1 FY26, and INR 27,479.63 crore for FY26. On its Q1 FY27 call management said the target is 15% growth.
We lock a binary: Bharat Electronics' standalone revenue from operations for the year to 31 March 2027 is INR 30,500 crore or more. Confidence 90%.
Fifteen percent growth on INR 27,479.63 crore would be about INR 31,602 crore. The threshold sits about 3.5% below that: about 11% growth.
BEL's year is heavily weighted to the fourth quarter, when defence deliveries are accepted. The first half grew 26% to INR 12,823.93 crore. Reaching INR 30,500 crore needs INR 17,676 crore in the second half, against INR 17,299 crore in the second half of FY2026: growth of about 2.2%.
A wider buffer would have produced a floor the second half could miss only by shrinking, which would be decoration. The threshold is set so that a flat second half fails.
BEL reports standalone and consolidated figures; management's growth target refers to the standalone business, and the criterion names it. Order inflow guidance, which hinges on a single very large missile-system approval, is a binary event and is deliberately not used.
First Indian defence PSU lock. A weak link to Larsen & Toubro (P-297) through Indian capital-goods execution is noted.
RAOSCAFF locks P-358 on 2026-11-05, before the FY2027 result. Scored against standalone revenue from operations as reported by Bharat Electronics for the year to 31 March 2027.
A hot first half earns no credit. The second half must still grow.
