Terms of Use

AIO outputs. Decision authority with the client. Engagement contracts supersede.

Last updated: 2026-05-02

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to raoscaff.com and to RAOSCAFF deliverables (Decision Briefs, decision memos, and other research outputs). By accessing the website or engaging RAOSCAFF, you agree to these Terms together with the Privacy Policy, Data Use Policy, General Disclaimer, and Report Disclaimer. Where a written engagement contract is signed, the engagement contract supersedes these Terms for that engagement.

2. What RAOSCAFF provides

RAOSCAFF produces AI Inference Outputs (AIOs) — AI-assisted analytical inferences delivered as Decision Briefs, decision memos, and research deliverables under senior human supervision. RAOSCAFF does not provide and is not registered to provide investment advice, banking or NBFC financial services, real-estate brokerage, legal practice, chartered accountancy, registered valuation services, or insurance advice. The full categorical position is documented in the General Disclaimer.

3. Acceptable use

Visitors agree to use raoscaff.com lawfully and in good faith. Prohibited activity includes: automated scraping or data extraction without written permission; reverse-engineering of platform mechanics; submission of false, abusive, or misleading material through the enquiry channels; attempts to compromise platform security or integrity; use of the platform to defame, harass, or infringe the rights of any party. RAOSCAFF reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of this section.

4. Intellectual property

All content, branding, visual assets, copy, code, methodology, and the AIO designation on raoscaff.com are the intellectual property of RAOSCAFF or its licensors. Decision Briefs are licensed to the named client for the engagement scope and for the client's reasonable internal use; redistribution, public quotation, citation in marketing collateral, or use as evidence in adversarial proceedings without RAOSCAFF written consent is outside the licence. Anonymised structural learnings extracted from delivered Briefs (per the Data Use Policy) become part of RAOSCAFF's internal model-improvement work.

5. Decision authority and user-borne risk

Engaging RAOSCAFF does not transfer decision authority. The client remains the decider for every action taken before, during, or after engaging RAOSCAFF. Outcomes of decisions made on the basis of, or after reading, a Decision Brief — including investments made, properties acquired or sold, contracts signed, campaigns launched, policies enacted, or purchases completed — rest with the client. RAOSCAFF makes no warranty that any modelled scenario will materialise.

6. Limitation of liability (subject to applicable law)

Subject to applicable law and the non-excludable liabilities below, RAOSCAFF's total cumulative liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or any engagement is capped at the engagement fee actually paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim, or — where no engagement fee was paid — INR 1,000. RAOSCAFF disclaims liability for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind, including lost profits, lost opportunity, lost goodwill, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law — including, where applicable, liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, statutory breach (including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023), confidentiality breach, intellectual-property misuse, personal injury caused by RAOSCAFF, or non-excludable rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or analogous laws.

7. No fiduciary, agency, or partnership relationship

Engaging RAOSCAFF does not create a fiduciary relationship, agency, joint venture, partnership, employment relationship, attorney–client relationship, or any other regulated trust relationship between RAOSCAFF and the client, except where a written engagement contract expressly states otherwise. The relationship is contractor-and-client for the production of an analytical research output.

8. Confidentiality

Each party shall keep confidential any non-public information learned about the other party in connection with an engagement, and use such information solely for the engagement. Confidentiality survives termination. The Data Use Policy describes how RAOSCAFF treats client submissions and the boundary on retention for internal pattern-extraction.

9. Engagement contracts supersede general terms

Where a written engagement contract is signed between RAOSCAFF and a client, that contract governs the engagement and prevails over these Terms in case of conflict for that engagement. These Terms continue to govern all uses of raoscaff.com and any engagement-adjacent activity not covered by a specific contract.

10. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. For engagements with clients headquartered in India, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of New Delhi, India. For engagements with clients headquartered in Australia, the laws of New South Wales apply and the courts of Sydney have non-exclusive jurisdiction. For engagements with clients headquartered in New Zealand, the laws of New Zealand apply and the courts of Auckland have non-exclusive jurisdiction. For all other jurisdictions, the engagement contract specifies the governing law and forum at the time of contracting. The parties shall attempt good-faith negotiation for any dispute before initiating formal proceedings, and may agree to mediation before litigation. Nothing in this section limits a consumer's right to access non-excludable consumer-protection forums in their own jurisdiction.

11. Termination

Visitors may stop using raoscaff.com at any time. Engagements may be terminated as set out in the engagement contract; absent specific contract terms, either party may terminate an engagement for material breach not cured within 14 days of written notice. Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

12. Updates

RAOSCAFF may update these Terms as platform surfaces, regulatory contexts, and engagement patterns evolve. Material updates are dated; continued use after a material update constitutes acceptance. Each engagement contract incorporates the version current at contracting; site updates apply prospectively.
